The holidays were nice with family and friends, but I’m soooo glad to be getting back to my meditation practice. It’s incredible how helpful it is to me and I know other caregivers feel the same way. Wow, I’ve learned a lot over the past two weeks. My aunt was in the hospital because she had no energy and was having a difficult time breathing. Turns out her pulmonary arterial pressure was at 81 — extremely high. Scary! We’ll learn this week what’s next in her care plan. 🙏
Starting the new year with a renewed self-care commitment! Although things are generally difficult most of the time considering my mom’s health issues and mine, I know being more diligent with exercise, breaks, etc. is critical to my long-term outlook. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me!
